Updated: Tigers tie Lakers - Soccer scoreboard

The West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers tied the Indian Lake Lady Lakers 1-1 on Saturday.

Morgan Freyhof scored for the Tigers.

April Kelley and Bell Clark each recorded saves in goal for WL-S.

The Lady Tigers are now 12-3-1 overall and 10-2 in the OHC.

Their next game is Thursday (tournament) at home at 7:00 against the winner of Franklin Monroe and Newton.

The County tournament kicked off on Saturday with two Indian Lake teams facing each other for game one of the two pool round robin tournament.

LCS Elite defeated Indian Lake #2 6-1.

The game was tied 1-1 at the half.

Logan Ingle netted two goals. Kaleb Benny, Ethan Pequignot, Xander Vance, and Nikolas Vance each scored a goal.

Ethan Pequignot added two assists while Cole Overbey had one assist. Jade Lewis and Ciara Wall were outstanding on defense.

Gage Dawson scored for Indian Lake #2.

Calvary Christian handled Benjamin Logan Gold 16-0 at Southview Park, improving the Spartans' record to 16-0.

Rylan Studebaker scored 5 goals. Derek Robb and Tyler Reinhard each scored 3 goals. Pete Kratz scored 2 goals. Jon Salmonowicz, Daniel Wilt, and Christopher Myers each added a goal. Jon Salmonowicz recorded 4 assists, Derek Robb tallied 2 assists, and Josh Kilgore added an assist. 

Garrett Criner and Cody Kuhn each had a save at keeper.

This was the first game of the Logan County Round Robin Tournament.

The Spartans next game will be Tuesday at Benjamin Logan against West Liberty 1 at 5:30.

Bellefontaine edged West Liberty #1 1-0.

EJ Edu scored the game-winner on an assist from Jaela Smalley.

Goalies Drew Jackson and Landon Earick combined for the shutout.

Steve Austin's outscored The County Classifieds 6-1.

Ryan Carman scored twice. Abby Kite, Conner Gamble, Brooks Verhoff, and Carmen Shumaker scored one goal each.

Calvary Christian ran past Huntsville #1 8-0.

Kelvin Ong led the way with a hat trick, Dillon Jordan scored twice, and Hayden Neely, Michael Rostofer, and Trevor Berry each added a goal.


Huntsville #2 blanked Huntsville #1 7-0.

Rece Kimmel led the way for Huntsville #2 with 3 goals. Chase Schaub, Jackson Young, Colby Borgerding, and Kaitlyn Shaner each added a goal.

Grant McPherson, Ava Shroyer, and Brody Parsell had assists.

Lane Tucci and Dawson Finfrock recorded the shutout in the goal supported by strong defensive play by Hannah Metzger and Ashlynn Biederman.
