Updated: Lady Raiders lose on Senior Night – Wednesday soccer scores (Audio & video included)

The Benjamin Logan varsity girls soccer team hosted Northwestern on Senior Night Wednesday.

The Lady Raiders honored seniors Desiree Clark, Ashtin Henry, Sara Rice, Ashleigh Heather, and Kacie Oswalt before the game.

The Lady Raiders lost to Northwestern 7-1.

Northwestern scored the first goal of the game off the foot of Jensen Kleis.

Around a minute later the Lady Raiders scored on a penalty kick by junior Hannah Boysel.

Kelly Sullivan scored for Northwestern before the half. The Lady Warriors led 2-1.

Northwestern erupted in the 2nd half scoring 5 goals. Crystal Cruz recorded a hat trick in the half and Kleis and Sullivan each added a goal.

Benjamin Logan is 6-7-2 overall and 2-7-1 in the CBC. They will close out the regular season at Urbana next Wednesday.

Northwestern improves to 11-1-3 overall and 8-0-2 in the league. They will host Greenon next Wednesday.

The Bellefontaine varsity girls lost on Senior Night to Springfield Shawnee 4-0 at Dodd Stadium.

It was the final home game for seniors Destiny Brown, Breanne Douce, Michelle Edu, Rosie Hyden, Olivia Martin, and Alivia Wilson.

The Chiefs are 3-10-2 overall and 2-7-1 in the CBC. They will finish the regular season at Dayton Stebbins next Wednesday.

The JV Lady Chiefs beat the Braves 5-0.

Madelyn Levine, Kenzie Patton, Abby Godwin, and Hannah Davis scored goals.

The reserves finished 9-1-1.

The Bellefontaine varsity boys lost at Springfield Shawnee 1-0.

The varsity Chiefs fall to 5-6-2 and host Celina Saturday.

The Bellefontaine JV boys shut out Springfield Shawnee 5-0.

Ross Angelo and Matt Voss each scored 2 goals and Justin Clayton added a goal.

The JV Chiefs improve to 6-4.

The Indian Lake varsity boys fell to Urbana 4-0.

The varsity Lakers fall to 9-6 on the season and 6-4 in the CBC and host Graham Wednesday.

Urbana improves to 7-5-2 and 3-5-1 in the CBC.
