It was Week Three in high school football as we prepared to roll into conference play over the next few weeks.
On 98.3 WPKO, West Liberty-Salem made it 27 straight regular-season wins, dominating Riverside, 45-0.
The Tigers are 3-0, the Pirates now 1-2.
On 1390 WBLL, the Bellefontaine-Urbana rivalry began anew in Urbana Friday. The Hillclimbers were in control for the first three quarters, building a 35-7 lead. The Chieftains managed to mount a furious comeback in the fourth, but fell short, 35-20.

Urbana quarterback Nathan Mays was named the Steve Austin's Auto Group Player of the Game. He completed 20 of 40 passes for over 260 yards. The junior threw three TD passes.
Urbana stays unbeaten at 3-0, while the Chiefs fall to 1-2.
The PeakofOhio.com bonus game was all Mechanicsburg over Waynesfield-Goshen, 54-16.
Indian Lake treated Laker fans to a huge homecoming win, stomping Upper Scioto Valley, 52-0, for its first win. The Lakers are now 1-2, with USV is now, 2-1.
Benjamin Logan fell at Kenton Ridge 50-7.
Vandalia-Butler blanked Graham 39-0.
Triad outscored Fairbanks 40-7.
Springfield Shawnee continued putting up big scores with a 53-17 win over Dayton Carroll.
Northwestern beat Springfield Catholic 42-7.
Greeneview came back from an early deficit to beat East Clinton 46-25.
Wapakoneta shut out Elida 42-0.
Sidney rebounded from last week’s OT loss to Bellefontaine, winning against West Carrollton 27-7.
Middletown Christian goose-egged Ridgemont 16-0.
In another shutout, it was Ada 20-0 over Columbus Grove.
Coldwater held home court, knocking off Versailles 31-0.
