Benjamin Logan boys kick past Fairlawn

A few high school soccer teams played non-league games Tuesday night.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys dominated Fairlawn 5-0.

Aaron Pennington, Timon Mannings, Bryce Gray, Tristan Miller, and Isaac Bednarki each scored a goal.

Cole Pelger had two assists. Bednarki and Dylan Jakeway each added an assist.

Trent Kramer got his first career shutout.

The Raiders outshot the Jets 28-1.

Benjamin Logan (1-1) will visit Springfield Shawnee next Wednesday.

In JV action, Calvary Christian blanked Benjamin Logan 4-0.

Ian McGillis scored twice. Alex McGillis and Maddie McGillis each recorded a goal and an assist.

Blake Wenger stopped a late penalty kick to preserve the shutout.

The Spartans will travel to Delaware Christian next Tuesday. Game time is 5:30.

The Raiders (1-1) will play at Indian Lake on Monday at 5:00.

The Benjamin Logan varsity girls tied Botkins 1-1.

Taylor Coy and Kenzie Heater connected on another sensational cross and one-time finish.

Botkins scored the tying goal late in the first half.

Ashtin Henry made 6 saves.

The Raiders will visit Triad Thursday at 5:30.

Youth:

Huntsville #2 U8 shut out North Logan #3 6-0 over the weekend.

Rece Kimmel scored 5 goals and Lane Tucci added a goal.

Chase Schaub delivered 2 assists.

Kaitlyn Shaner and Tucci recorded the shutout in goal.
