Bellefontaine's 10u travel baseball team won the David Zerkle Memorial Classic in St. Paris over the weekend.
In pool play they lost to Triad 3-2 in 8 innings and lost to Buckeye Valley 8-1.
In tournament play the Chiefs stormed back defeating Graham 13-3. Brian Bush and Connor Rose shined on the mound.
Bellefontaine edged Buckeye Valley 3-2 in the semifinal and ran past Triad 11-1 in the final.
Ethan Moore and Jarrid Baughman combined for 18 strikeouts to get both wins.
Offensively for the tournament, Ethan Moore had an over-the-fence home run and two doubles. Jarrid Baughman had a triple and three doubles, and Aden Downing, Connor Rose, Jeremy Baughman, and Doby Orahood each smacked a double.
