The Bellefontaine Easton Water Solutions Acme team won two games over the weekend to advance to the district championship game.
Bellefontaine defeated Springfield 4-2 on Saturday and then knocked off Beavercreek 9-2 on Sunday to win the district winner's bracket.
On Saturday, Kyle Brunner pitched a complete game for Bellefontaine striking out eight. Gauge Hayman was 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs.
On Sunday, Gauge Hayman went 2-for-2 and scored three times. Jordan Baughman drove in three runs, Tyler Jones doubled, and Drake Roebuck was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Nick Burton also added a double for Bellefontaine.
Joe Oliver handled the pitching duties striking out six in six innings of work.
Bellefontaine (20-3) will play Springfield in the district title game tonight at Blue Jacket Park at six o'clock.
