Hyland powers Thoman's IGA to another win - Thursday scoreboard

Several youth baseball teams were in action Thursday night.

Pony League:

Thoman's IGA blanked East Liberty Middleburg 11-0.

Ben Hyland fired a two-hit shutout with eighteen strikeouts.

Brandon Upton led the attack with three hits, including a home run, a triple, and five RBIs.

Luke Woods, Mat Prince, and Dalton Randall each added two hits.

Bellefontaine #3 Maple Leaf ran past Lakeview 18-3.

Tweh Coleman was the winning pitcher.

Owen O'Connor, Johnny Ganson, and Dez Lyburtus each had three hits.

Jerome Smith belted two doubles.

O'Connor and Austin Allen each added a double.

For Lakeview, Tristin Goings and Dalton Younce had singles.

Little League:

Huntsville #1 Logan County Co-op beat Bellefontaine #3 7-3.

Aaron Malarkey earned the win pitching 4 2/3 innings with ten Ks.

Malarkey had two hits with a double and four RBIs.

Caleb Taylor belted a triple and Jake Zarnosky smacked a double.

Farm League:

Washington #2 outscored West Liberty #1 13-3 Wednesday night.

Reece Lensman and Logan Evans each had a home run.

Kyle LeVan delivered a triple and three RBIs.

Church Softball:

Quest Community Church of West Liberty swept a doubleheader at Gretna.

Quest edged Calvary Baptist #2 8-7.

Quest then rolled past Reality Outreach Church #2 16-1.
