City Farm League Tournament plus other Friday scores from around the ball diamond

AcuSport advanced to next Wednesday's City Farm League tournament championship game by defeating BPD 5-3.

Robby Wildermuth and Ethan Moore combined for 13 strikeouts for Acusport.

Offensively Brady Burden hit a homerun, Cam Kline a triple, Levon Howard a double, and Connor Rose drove in two runs.

For BPD Doby Orahood and Jarrid Baughman combined for 12 Ks.

Thompson Electric picked up two wins on Friday night in tournament play.

In game one Thompson Electric defeated Lee's Roofing 7-5 in extra innings.

Camron Pulfer and Miles Harte combined for 13 strikeouts for Thompson’s.

Alex Pulfer had a triple, Tanner Wical two doubles, and Issac Dillion a double.

In game two Thompson Electric defeated Brown’s 10-4.

Alex Pulfer, Brandon Moon, and Tad Slayback combined for 12 strikeouts.

Miles Harte had two hits and Alex Pulfer and Tanner Wical each had two doubles. Thompson Electric plays Monday in the finals of the losers bracket.


Stanley’s Asphalt Seal Coating Lakeview 1 had a big win over Zanesfield 3 24-0 in four innings on Friday night.

Big hitters for the team were Gavin Lones going 4-4 with two homeruns, Landen Wisener 4-4 with two doubles, RJ Holbrook 4-4 with two triples, Czar Dickson 3-3 with a triple, Eldon Stevens 4-4 with four doubles, and Logan Grubbs 3-3.

The win improves Stanley’s team record to 7-1.

Huntsville Fast Track Signs defeated West Liberty 1 by a final of 16-8.

Rece Kimmel and Evan Manley each had three hits and scored two runs, Lane Tucci had two hits including a double, four RBI, and scored two runs, Colby Borgerding had a double and an RBI, and Jackson Young and Davien Hamilton each had two hits and two RBI.

Huntsville is 8-0 on the season.


Huntsville 3 Dads Towing recently slid by Ridgemont 3 19-15.For Dads Towing offensively Kolton Cummins was 3-3 with a home run and three RBI, Sam Varian Jr. was 3-3 with two doubles and four RBI, and Devin Rice was 3-3 with a double and two RBI.


Rushsylvania Church of Christ beat First Church of God #2 11-4.
