Jr. Lady Tigers win league meet, boys finish fourth

The West Liberty-Salem Middle School girls track team ran away with the OHC championship Thursday evening beating Greeneview, Mechanicsburg, Springfield Catholic, Northeastern, Southeastern, Triad, and Cedarville.

First-place finishers were Janie Kopus in high jump, Laine Godwin in 100 hurdles, Maegan Cordell in the 200 hurdles, Aubrie Stillings in the 200 meters, Taylor Lauck in the 400 meters, Reghan Bieleski in the 800 meters, and the 4x100 relay and the 4x400 relays.

The 4x100 relay includes Laine Godwin, Taylor Lauck, Tory Cordell, and Aubrie Stillings.

The 4x400 relay members are Taylor Lauck, Katie Hartsel, Janie Kopus, and Reghan Bieleski.

In second place were Reghan Bieleski in the 1600 meter run and Laine Godwin in the 200 meter hurdles.

Scoring third were Maegan Cordell in the 100 meter hurdles, Katie Hartsel in the 800 and 1600, and the 4x200 relay team of Kaeley Lattimer, Maegan Cordell, Sophie Farquarson, and Jenna Magnuson.

The West Liberty-Salem Middle School boys track team finished fourth in the league meet.

Brandon Wolfe won the long jump and 200m dash and placed 2nd in the 100m dash.

The 4x400m relay of Moell, Williams, Woods, and Strickland finished 2nd.
