Updated: Chiefs shut out Stebbins, Raiders beat Lakers – Tuesday scorecard

Area ball clubs saw action Tuesday evening.

The Bellefontaine varsity baseball team shut out Dayton Stebbins 13-0.

Jordan Baughman homered and tallied 3 RBIs, Nick Burton doubled twice and totaled 3 RBIs, and Brandon Wilson added 2 RBIs.

From the mound, Josh Clifton struck out 6.

BHS moves to 15-7 overall and 11-4 in the CBC. They will host Indian Lake Thursday on 1390 WBLL at five p.m.

Stebbins falls to 5-19, 0-15.

The Bellefontaine Red JV baseball team shut out Dayton Stebbins 5-0.

On the mound, Joe Oliver fanned 7.

Lane Kiser tallied 3 RBIs.

The Benjamin Logan varsity baseball team defeated Indian Lake 4-1.

Austin Cline earned the win. He struck out five in six innings.

Garrett Dunn recorded the save.

Zane Collins had two hits and an RBI, Collen Pulfer smacked a double, and Brady Bechtel added a hit and an RBI.

The Riverside varsity baseball team topped Troy Christian 14-2.

Dalton Bollinger homered twice contributing 5 RBIs and Dustin Proffitt added 3 RBIs.

The Pirates improve to 16-8.

The West Liberty-Salem JV baseball team fell to Minster 16-1.

The Benjamin Logan varsity softball team beat Indian Lake 4-2.

Taylor Quay had 2 RBIs and Courtney Stewart struck out 9 in the win.

For the Lady Lakers, Ashley Franks tallied 2 RBIs.

Youth finals:

Pony League:

West Liberty #1 Thomans IGA handled Lakeview 24-3.

Brandon Upton was 5-for-5 with 8 RBIs, 5 runs, and 3 stolen bases.

Ben Hyland, Logan Brown, Luke Woods, and Tyler Louden combined for the no-hitter.

Little League:

Washington Township edged Ridgeway 2-1 in seven innings.

The game was scoreless after six innings.

Starting pitcher Matt Kawalec struck out 12.

Nathan Severt had three hits, including the game-winner.

For Ridgeway, Cole McKinley had 12 Ks.

Huntsville #2 McKeestown Trading Post defeated East Liberty Middleburg 10-5.

Ethan Parker and John Zumberger each had three hits. Darrick Curtis added a triple.

Ethan Fulkerson, Garrett Gross, and Zumberger combined for 7 strikeouts.

For East Liberty Middleburg, Taggert Beaty had a double.

Farm League:

Washington #2 beat West Liberty #1 4-1.

Logan Evans was 3-for-3. Ian Wischmeyer stole home.

Andrew Joseph, Reece Lensman, and Evans pitched well.

Bantam League:

Best Door and Window played Vital Signs.

Jaxon Hoskins hit a three-run home run in the first inning, Christopher Ritzma recorded a double and a single, and Foster Noreiga added two hits.

Church League:

The Bellefontaine Area Church Softball League hosted two games at Gretna Tuesday night.

Reality Outreach Church #1 ran past First Baptist Church Urbana 28-3.

Bellefontaine First Church of God #1 outscored Rushsylvania Church of Christ 26-10.
