A couple of local teams were able to roll into the top half of the Southwest District Bowling Championships this weekend in a field of better than 150 bowlers.
Sidney managed a ninth-place team finish on the strength of Junior Cody Joyce’s 652 series 12-place individual finish.
Bellefontaine finished eleventh. For the Chiefs, Roman Miller (40) rolled a 594, Cody Hullinger (61) a 567, Devin Legge (63) a 566, and Joseph Jacobs (76) a 555.
For Benjamin Logan David Miller (42) finished with a 591 series, Josh Wiley (94) a 528, Logan Wenger (106) a 502, and Kam Newland (114) a 463.
