Lady Falcons roll to district, WLS standout advances

Several local girls bowling teams competed at the sectional tournament Wednesday in Huber Heights.

4th Graham (3592, advancing to district for second straight year)

5th Northwestern

6th Greenon

Individual results:

West Liberty-Salem standout Codi McNutt rolled a 194, a 188, and a 139 for a 521 series to qualify as an individual.

Graham: Abigail Ogden 166, 181, 211 (558 series), Allyssa Park 174, 200, 149 (523), Sarah Carpenter 177, 176, 159 (512) All three qualify for the district tournament.

Benjamin Logan: Danielle Jones 169, 181, 147 (497 series) Jones tied with another bowler but did not qualify for district because the other bowler’s highest individual score was 9 pins better. Teammate Becca Crum shot a 200 and Alyssa Smucker tossed a 175.

Bellefontaine: Allie Skelly 179, 156, 154 (489) Haleigh Stafford 176

The district bowling tournament will be February 22nd at Beaver Vu Bowl in Beavercreek.
