Several area boys basketball teams were in action last night.
Bellefontaine dropped their Senior Night matchup to visiting Tecumseh 45-37.
The sharpshooting Arrows (pictured on offense) hit 10-of-20 three-point attempts and used a stingy half-court defense to hound the Chiefs.
Tecumseh junior guard Dalton Davis poured in a game-high 14 points to earn Steve Austin's Auto Group Player of the Game honors. Teammate Gabe Winans-Berner added 10 points.
Bellefontaine forged out to a 13-12 lead after the opening quarter, but really struggled to find its offense over the final three periods. The Chiefs were just 2-for-10 from the field in the final quarter.
Senior Logan Mitchell paced Bellefontaine with 10 points. Max Oyer recorded 8 points and 12 rebounds. Matt Gump played significant minutes for the first time in over a month. He tossed in 6 points.
Mitchell, Gump, and fellow seniors Shaff Gorham and Brett Wisner were honored before the game.
