Hormann leads Tigers past Cedarville - Basketball Scoreboard

Several area basketball teams were in action last night.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity boys handled visiting Cedarville 60-41.

WLS jumped out to a 27-16 halftime lead.

Senior Landon Hormann poured in a game-high 27 points and Connor Woods added 10 points.

The Tigers are 14-4 overall and 10-1 in the OHC.

The JV Tigers beat the Indians 47-27.

Indian Lake fell at Graham 53-45.

Christian Grider and Brennon Lump each scored 15 points.

The Lakers are 3-12 overall and 3-4 in the CBC; the Falcons move to 9-7, 7-0.

Tecumseh routed host Benjamin Logan 75-37.

After building a 42-22 halftime lead, Tecumseh outscored Benjamin Logan 23-0 in the third quarter.

The Raiders have lost thirteen straight.

Greenon stifled Yellow Springs 52-27.

Jackson Center outlasted visiting Marion Local 55-51 in double overtime.

Wapakoneta defeated host Sidney 60-54.

Kenton edged Bluffton 61-57.

Lehman surprised Versailles 48-45.

Jr. High:

The Riverside 7th grade boys shot past Lima Perry 43-31.

Trey Lane tossed in 19 points and Caleb Stevens scored 17.

The West Liberty-Salem 7th grade girls ran past Southeastern 44-11 in the semifinal round of the OHC tournament.

The Lady Tigers raced to a 13-1 lead after the first quarter.

Jonni Parker led all scorers with 20 points and 8 rebounds, Kenedie Cox recorded 6 points, 2 steals, and 1 assist, and Taylor Lauck tallied 5 points, 5 steals, and 4 assists.

WLS improves to 17-1. They will play in the OHC title game Saturday morning at ten o'clock at Triad Middle School.

On Sunday in Tri-County action, Bellefontaine defeated previously undefeated Benjamin Logan Black 37-23.

Trevon Wilgus scored17 points, Jack Clement tallied 7 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 5 assists, Evan Standley grabbed 10 rebounds, and Aaron Malarkey added 8 steals.

Tremayne Wilson and Colby Henry each played key roles in the victory.
