The Bellefontaine swim team traveled to Wright State (pictured) to compete in the Southwest District Classic over the weekend.
Throughout the two-day meet many swimmers achieved new personal best times and placed well in a highly competitive setting.
Top scorers for the boys were Josh Haisley scoring 55 points finishing 3rd in 50 free, 4th 100 fly, 6th 200 IM, and 8th in 100 free, Isaiah Brady finished with 23 points placing 7th in the 50 free and 8th in 100 fly, and Evan Snapp added 16 points.
Scoring for the girls were Jessica Miller with 36 points finishing 6th in 50 free, 8th in 100 back, 10th in 100 free, and 12th in 100 breast, Emma Smith scored 26 coming in 10th in 50 free, 7th in 500 free, and 10th in 100 breast, Shelby Phillips added 8 points, and Katie Vetorino finished with 5 points for the team.
The Chiefs host their final home meet of the season Tuesday night at 6:30 at the Hilliker YMCA.
