The Bellefontaine varsity boys tennis team lost at Northwestern 5-0 Thursday night.
In first singles, Hunter Karg fell 6-1, 6-0.
Maverick Calton was defeated in second singles 6-0, 6-3.
At third singles, Kasey Middaugh lost 6-0, 6-1.
In doubles action, Cam Neer and Jackson Strzalka fell 6-0, 7-5.
At second doubles, Aiden Hartley and Simon Stolly were defeated 6-0, 6-3.
In reserve first doubles, Shawn Heft and Ben Sailors won their match 6-4, 6-2.
Also in reserve doubles, Harsh Bakshi and Brooks Verhoff lost 6-2.
Nathan Conner and Kasey Middaugh also played a single set in reserve and fell 6-4.
The Chiefs are 2-3 on the season.
BHS will host Tecumseh on Monday at 4:30.
