Tigers rally past West Jefferson - Friday basketball finals

The West Liberty-Salem varsity boys basketball team rallied past visiting West Jefferson 54-53 Friday night.

The Tigers trailed 38-20 in the third quarter.

James Loffing led the way with 16 points.

Max Eggleston tossed in 12 and Trevor Burden added 11 points.

WL-S moves to 14-6 overall and 11-4 in the OHC.

The JV Tigers won 54-42.

Nick Burden poured in 18 points, Oliver McGuire scored 10, Jack Eggleston had 8 points, and Eli McGill added 7 points.

The freshman Tigers beat the Roughriders 35-30.

Jace Wade had 12 points, Tanner LeVan dropped in 10 points, and Noah Cline added 7 points.

The Bellefontaine varsity boys fell at Kenton Ridge 72-66.

The Chiefs trailed by 17 entering the final quarter.

Spencer George led all scorers with 33 points.

Junior guard Jack Clement did not play because of illness.

The Chiefs are 9-10 overall and 6-6 in the CBC.

The Indian Lake varsity boys lost at Tecumseh 51-50.

Tecumseh senior guard Clay Mastin hit a three-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining to win the game.

Collin Coburn paced the Lakers attack with 17 points.

Kale Shoffner scored 13 points.

The Lakers are 9-12, 5-7.

The JV Lakers fell 51-40.

Chris Lariva had 12 points and Ethan Fulkerson tallied 11 points.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys lost at Graham 56-37.

The Falcons outscored the Raiders 28-7 in the first quarter.

Nolan Robson had a team-high 15 points.

The Raiders are 7-14, 3-9.

The JV Raiders fell 51-33.

Davontae Fahle had 11 points.

The freshman Raiders lost 38-28.

Landen Hunt had 12 points.

The Triad varsity boys outscored Northeastern 79-62.

Hadley LeVan and Briley Harlan each poured in 23 points.

The JV Cardinals prevailed 53-48.

Bryan Bundy had 16 points.

The freshman Cardinals lost 47-38.
