Pirates earn first win - Tuesday hoops highlights

The Riverside boys basketball team beat Bradford 51-39 Tuesday night.

It was the Pirates first win of the year.

John Zumberger had 14 points and Kyle Knight tallied 13 points and 6 rebounds.

The Pirates are 1-2.

The JV Pirates prevailed 27-21.

Trevor Young had 8 points.

Triad lost to Graham 61-41.

Hadley LeVan poured in 23 points.

The Cardinals are 2-1. It was the season opener for Graham.

The JV Cards fell 70-39.

The Triad freshman team lost 53-45.

Drew Campbell had 16 points, Jalen Nott scored 12, and Batai Lease added 10.

Bellefontaine fell at Kettering Fairmont 67-65.

The Chiefs (1-1) trailed by 16 in the first half before posting a big rally.

Indian Lake lost to West Liberty-Salem 61-55.

Austin Parker delivered 15 points and 2 blocks.

The Ridgemont varsity girls team fell to Triad 60-54.

Priscilla Howland had 21 points and teammate Meadow Cromer added 16.

The Gophers are 2-3.

Jr. High finals:

The Bellefontaine 8th grade boys team lost to Lima Shawnee 57-22.

Liam Harris scored 5 points and Lincoln Howell tallied 4 points and 4 rebounds.

The Chiefs will travel to Indian Lake Thursday.

The 7th grade Chiefs fell to Lima Shawnee 59-25.

Jack Hutchins had 9 points.

Eli Moore and Kaden Reames each scored 6 points.

The Bellefontaine 8th grade girls lost to Lima Shawnee 29-19.

Katie Pool poured in 11 points.

Carmen Shumaker added 4 points.

The 7th grade Lady Chiefs fell to Lima Shawnee 38-14.

Aubrey Hudson had 7 points. Morgan Johns added 4 points.

The Lady Chiefs will host Indian Lake on Thursday.
