Chieftain boys win tight match – Monday golf scoreboard

Hunter KargThe Bellefontaine varsity boys golf team edged Kenton Ridge 173-175 at Liberty Hills Monday night.

Nicklaus Lyons and Hunter Karg each shot a 41.

Derek McNutt followed with a 45, Dillon Robb contributed a 46, Nate Kurtz added a 49, and Evan Standley a 54.

For the JV, Jacob Scott shot 41, Simon Stolly 48, Jared Salyer 50, and Zane Warren a 61.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys fell to Graham 170-183 at Liberty Hills.

Will Kenoyer and Ethan Ricketts each fired a 44. Garrett Allen had a 47 and Carter Stewart recorded a 48.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity boys beat Mechanicsburg 193-203.

Tyler Gardner was low for the Tigers with a 42.

Patrick Harr shot 45, Max Eggleston 49, Michael Price 57, Kenny Harr 59, and Jerrett Eckurd 63.

The Tigers improve to 8-4 in league play.

The Riverside varsity boys team fell to Lehman 168-191 at Shelby Oaks.

Trey Lane was medalist with a 39.

James Hudson and John Zumberger each shot a 49.

Jason Yoder recorded a 54.

The Pirates are 3-1 in league play.

The Benjamin Logan varsity girls defeated Indian Lake and Graham in a tri-match at Cherokee Hills.

The Lady Raiders shot 216 , Indian Lake had a 224, and Graham finished with a 277.

Mailiis Simovart of Benjamin Logan was medalist with a 42.

Willow Titus had a 53, Gabrielle Schmit a 60, Sarah Seeley a 61, and Sammy Lee a 69.

Belle Elliott of Indian Lake shot a 49.
