Triad falls in sectional final - Wednesday scoreboard

There were a couple of area Division IV sectional title games in baseball Wednesday night.

Triad fell to Ft. Loramie 7-4.

The Redskins will play Southeastern in the district final Friday at Newton.

Russia outlasted Lehman 7-4 in 10 innings.

The Raiders will battle Newton for the district crown Friday at Springboro.

Farm League:

Quincy L & B Auto Repair shut out West Liberty #2 8-0.

Ayden Clary and Landon Purtee combined to strike out 17 batters.

Dominik Stotler had 2 hits.

Gavin Robinson, Reece Jenkins, Brody Orsborne, and Landon Purtee each added a hit.

For West Liberty#2, Nate Davis and Camdon Bair combined to strike out 10 batters.

Davis smacked a triple.

West Liberty #1 defeated Huntsville #2 14-0.

Brevin Louden and Isaiah Reminder combined for a one-hitter with 9 Ks.

Sam Lauck had 2 hits and 3 RBIs.

Jackson Steiner belted a home run.

Jacob Evans recorded a triple.

Louden scored 3 runs.

Hunter Little and Jacob Lauck each added an RBI.

Reminder, Jack Bahan, and Caleb Hershberger added hits.

West Liberty #4 Sertell Chiropractic Clinic outscored Bellefontaine #2 12-3.

Lance Campbell was the winning pitcher with 9 Ks.

Relievers Gavin Nance and Cameron Pope teamed up to strike out 5.

Evan Casto, Nick Shifflet, and Jace Kaufman each had a hit.

Pope, Evan Borgerding, and Isaac Sertell scored 2 runs apiece.

T-Ball:

West Liberty #2 Liberty Tow Service was in action.

David Roberts led the attack with a grand slam and 2-run home run.

Ely Jackson was 4-4 with 2 homers.

Braxton Catron went 4-4 with 2 triples.

Dakota Dalton, Jocelyn Lycans, and Jude Roberts went 3 for 3.

12u softball:

Lakeview Brentlinger Auto Care ran past West Liberty #1 18-2.

Haylee Edwards shined in the circle with 8 strikeouts.

Ava Huffman had 3 hits and 3 RBIs.

Madison Brentlinger belted a home run.

Katie Roby, Kayleigh Zedlitz, and Halle Roby each had 2 hits.

Edwards and Libby Seifring doubled.

Jaelyn Hughes and Macy Myers each had a single.
