Updated: Bellefontaine handles Indian Lake - Friday hoops recap (Audio included)

In boys basketball from Friday night, Bellefontaine's varsity handled visiting Indian Lake 62-38 on WPKO.

Spencer George dropped in 12 points and was named the Buckeye Wash 'N Tan Player of the Game.

Lakers standout Collin Coburn led all scorers with 17 points.

The Chiefs are 8-1 overall and 4-0 in the CBC.

The Lakers fall to 6-3, 3-1.

In the JV game, the Chiefs defeated the Lakers 74-53.

For the Lakers, Nate Reichert and Clay Jacobs had 9 points.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity boys won at Triad 41-36.

Kannon Stillings scored 16 and Trevor Burden added 10.

For Triad, Alec Ober tossed in 13.

WL-S is now 6-4 (2-3 OHC).

Triad drops to 4-4 (2-3 OHC).

The JV Tigers defeated the JV Cardinals 33-19.

Alex Fitzpatrick had 14 points.

The WL-S freshman team trounced Triad 61-29.

Ethan Cole poured in 29 points.

For Triad, Layne Thompson scored 9.

Lima Perry dominated Riverside's varsity 77-29.

For the Pirates, Trey Helmlinger dropped in 13 and had 4 rebounds.

In the JV game, Lima Perry beat Riverside 45-37.

For the Pirates, Wyatt Auflick led the team with 16 points.

Trae Wilgus tallied 10.

The Calvary Christian varsity boys steamrolled Mansfield Temple Christian 65-45.

Josh Kilgore scored a game-high 22 points and dished out 5 assists.

Blake Wenger dropped in 14 points.

Tyler Reinhard recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Spartans (6-1) will play Grand Lake Christian at Wapakoneta on Monday.

The JV Spartans lost 43-33.

Cody Kuhn had 16 points.

Garrett Criner and Thomas Rorrer each scored 6 points.

Garrett Reinhard added 5 points.
