Updated: Benjamin Logan golfers edge Northwestern - Tuesday scoreboard

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys golf team edged Northwestern 165-166 at Liberty Hills Tuesday.

Grant Ricketts shot a 38, T.J. Fink tallied a 41, Tanner Rader scored a 43, Colin Headings carded a 43, Mitchell Fink had a 46, and Will Kenoyer added a 52.

The Raiders are 27-7 overall and 8-0 in league play.

The JV Raiders also won.

Connor Stewart scored a 50, Jared Sater tallied a 52, Daniel Meier had a 57, and Justin Watkins added a 60.

The Raiders face Indian Lake at Cherokee Hills Wednesday.

The Bellefontaine varsity boys lost to Springfield Shawnee 145-154 at Liberty Hills.

Nate Langenfeld led the Chiefs with a 36.

Devin Fowler recorded a 37, Connor Adelsberger fired a 40, Hunter Karg and Nicklaus Lyons each shot a 41, and Jarrett Beck added a 44.

The JV Chiefs beat the Braves 175 to 188.

Zach Reames fired a team-best 41.

Connor Burton and Josiah Jester each recorded a 44, Derek Markley shot a 46, Turner Scott had a 48, and Tarrin Breaston added a 52.

The West Liberty-Salem varsity boys swung past Mechanicsburg 158 to 185 at Indian Springs.

Kannon Stillings was medalist with a 36.

Nick Sims shot a 39, Ethan McBean recorded a 40, Dillon Callicoat fired a 43, Max Eggleston had a 46, and Logan Brown tallied a 49.

The Tigers are 5-0 in league play.

The Riverside varsity boys dropped a tri-match against Jackson Center and Lehman at Shelby Oaks.

JC won the match with a 184, Lehman followed with a 192, and Riverside had a 225.

Walker Mustain led the Pirates with a 54,

Trey Lane shot a 56, Luke Lowery recorded a 57, Jason Yoder fired a 58, and Derek Kobylack added a 60.

Drew Sosby paced the Tigers with a 44.

On Monday, Riverside lost to Botkins 210-221 at Shelby Oaks.

Walker Mustain fired a 47, Trey Lane had a 53, Jared Trabert shot a 60, Derek Kobylack recorded a 61, Jason Yoder tallied a 63, and Luke Lowery had a 70.

The Bellefontaine varsity girls fell in a tri-match Tuesday.

Northeastern took first with a 185, Waynesfield-Goshen tallied a 208, and the Chiefs shot a 215.

Emily McLaughlin led BHS with a 45, Emily Fulmer carded a 47, and Haley Watkins shot a 52.

The Jets' Annie Justice was medalist with a 42.
