Indian Lake boys soccer coach Jon Shoffstall reports Dylan Cline, a standout with the Lakers, has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Division II Tiffin University. He is an undecided major, but is considering the criminal justice field.
Dylan’s accomplishments/awards include being a two-time CBC first team selection, being selected to the second team Miami Valley North team, is third on the all-time assist list at Indian Lake, a four-year varsity letter winner with eight goals and nine assists in his career.
He played a school record 140 varsity halves in his high school career, was a team captain as a senior, and Shoffstall said Cline was instrumental in turning the boys program around from a perennial losing record to CBC champions this past year.
Shoffstall said, “Dylan has been a great player for us in his four years. I am excited to see his success in the future both athletically and academically. Dylan has been dedicated to our program and he will be greatly missed. On top of being a great midfielder, he provided a lot of leadership and helped nurture the young players to meet the expectations of the program.”
