St. Clair, Robb lead Vital Signs to close win – Thursday finals

It was a busy night on the diamond Thursday.

Baseball finals:

Pony League:

Bellefontaine #1 Vital Signs and Advertising beat East Liberty Middleburg 6-4.

D'Ante St. Clair and Derek Robb combined for 14 strikeouts on the mound.

Tweh Coleman and Colin Palmer each scored two runs.

Little League:

Bellefontaine #1 Dairy Queen defeated West Liberty #2 8-5.

Connor Rose earned the win.

Jarrid Baughman and Robbie Smith each smacked doubles.

Robby Wildermuth recorded two hits.

For West Liberty #2, Matthew Loffing had two doubles.

Bellefontaine #2 Lee's Roofing stifled Bellefontaine #4 McDonald's 8-1.

Kane Adkins had a double.

Markus Brugler, Dylan Breckler, Lucas Yoesting, and Noah Yoesting each added hits.

Lee's Roofing did not commit an error.

Coach Pitch Tournament:

Zanesfield Alexander Concrete beat Belle Center 8-3.

Camden Spriggs and Keaton Horney each had two hits and scored twice.

For Belle Center, Chase Levan was 2-for-2.

T-Ball Tournament:

Huntsville #2 Michael Electric outscored West Mansfield #2 26-13.

Kadin Howard had three hits.

Matthew Culp belted a home run.

Christopher Timms, Carson Clary, Griffin Schaub, Brody Black, and Lily Michael had doubles.

Luke Schaub, Christopher Timms, and Tyler Tidwell led the defense.

Church Softball at Gretna:

Quest Community Church beat Huntsville United Methodist Church 16-8.

Huntsville United Methodist Church ran past Bellefontaine First Church of God #2 25-15.
