Two ACME teams post walk-off wins - Youth finals

Several area baseball and softball teams played Wednesday night.


Bellefontaine Easton Water Solutions edged Xenia 5-4 at Blue Jacket Park.

Lane Kiser delivered a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning to score Clay Wisner from second.

Wisner earned the win in relief.

Kiser and Connor Burton each had three hits.

Bellefontaine is 3-0.

Riverside nipped Sidney 5-4.

Hunter Kreglow laid down the game-winning suicide squeeze bunt to score Tyler Sanford in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Conner Cotterman had three hits.

Tyler Daniels drove in two runs.

Sanford tallied two hits and scored twice.

Riverside (1-1) will host Bellefontaine tonight at 6:30.



West Liberty #2 Acrux Security ran past Ridgemont 22-7.

Macy Miller earned the win. She struck out six.

Sydnee Payer and Anna McGill belted home runs.

West Liberty collected 17 hits.

Lakeview C&S Farm Market defeated DeGraff 11-4.

Annabelle Bryant was the winning pitcher with 12 Ks.

Anna Peterman had two doubles.

Bryant and Haley Chamberlin each had two hits.

Lakeview improves to 7-0.

Farm League:

Thompson Electric beat LeVan's Service Center 12-4.

Keyon Collier recorded the win. He struck out five.

Liam Harris was 4-for-4 with an RBI.

Layne Castle had two hits and two RBIs.

Gage Pope and Mayson Plikerd recorded a hit and an RBI.

For LeVan's Service Center, Alex Caudill smacked a double.

Lakeview Robinson's Asphalt Seal Coating outscored West Liberty #1 11-7.

Gavin Lones, Lukas Wisener, and Caden Whitman combined for seven strikeouts on the mound.

Wisener led the offense with a double and a triple.

Lones had three hits with a triple.

Brandon Villa tallied three hits.

Gage Miranda and Caden Whitman added hits.

Lakeview is 11-0.

Huntsville #2 Classic Swing Driving Range handled East Liberty 18-2.

Nash Eaton and Lane McPherson each had two hits.

Colby Borgerding added a hit.

Huntsville #2 Classic Swing Driving Range defeated Lakeview #2 12-6 on Monday.

Nash Eaton had three hits with a pair of doubles.

Nate Huffman belted a double.

Lane Tucci, Nate Worrell, and Lane McPherson had two hits apiece.
