Easton Water wins again - Tuesday finals

A few area baseball and softball teams hit the field Tuesday night.


Bellefontaine Easton Water Solutions ran past Piqua 12-1.

Nick Ruble worked four innings to post the win.

Sammy Martz had two hits and four RBIs.

Connor Burton recorded two hits and two RBIs.

Easton Water is 2-0.

Riverside lost their opener to Anna 12-5.

Landon Kelsey had three hits with two doubles.

Trey Lane was 2-for-2 with a double.

Tyler Sanford added two hits.

Pony League:

East Liberty-Middleburg blanked Ridgemont 16-0.

Christian Blumenschien, Ben Whitten, and Nick Makin fired a two-hitter.

Austin Nichol and Ben Whitten each had three hits.

Colton Bowman, Micah Anderson, and Gavin Wynn added two hits apiece.

For Ridgemont, Blair and Hollinger each had a hit.

West Liberty #1 beat Bellefontaine #2 7-3.

Workman had a double and a triple.

Prince belted a double.

Little League:

Lakeview Indian Lake EMS edged Zanesfield #2 10-8.

Colton Dugan was the winning pitcher with eight Ks.

Caden Hyder had three hits and four RBIs.

Elijah Connelly recorded a hit and two RBIs.

Korbin Fox tallied a hit and scored twice.

Colton Dugan scored three runs.

Trinton Bok and Tyler Charles each added a run.

For Zanesfield, Levan and Johnson each had three hits.

Church Softball at Gretna:

Huntsville United Methodist Church outscored Hopewell United Methodist Church 26-9.

Quest Community Church defeated Rushsylvania Church of Christ 23-11.
