Palmer strikes out 14 in Pony League win - Youth finals

Several area baseball and softball teams played Thursday night.

Pony League:

Bellefontaine #1 Vital Signs and Advertising beat St. Paris #2 10-3.

Colin Palmer struck out fourteen in the win.

Jacob Boy had two hits and scored twice.

Nate Culp and Tweh Coleman each scored two runs.

Ridgemont defeated West Liberty #1 9-1.

Jace McGue and Hayden Ferrell tossed a three-hitter with fourteen Ks.

Cade McKinley and Alex Ramsey each had four hits with a double.

Garrett Warner added three hits.

Little League:

Bellefontaine #2 Lee's Roofing outscored Lakeview 16-11.

Cole Comstock and Noah Yoesting combined for eight strikeouts on the mound.

Lucas and Noah Yoesting along with Ethan Moore had three hits apiece.

Comstock recorded two hits.

Brenneke Wilcoxon belted a double.

For Lakeview, Dugan, Hyder, and Fox had doubles.

Bellefontaine National Salt Distributors ran past Dairy Queen 20-3.

Miles Harte, Kaylor Ransbottom, Tanner Harte, and Derek Stonerock led the offense.

For Dairy Queen, Connor Rose smacked an over-the-fence home run.

Softball:

14U:

Huntsville Seeley Farms/Dads Towing beat Bellefontaine All-Around Awards 11-2.

Callie Stidam struck out seven.

Alyson Huffman had six Ks.

Belle Elliott, Amber Seeley, Lili Roby, and Brittany Pond each had hits and RBIs.

Church Softball at Gretna:

Calvary Baptist Church defeated Huntsville United Methodist Church 15-11.

Union Station outscored Gretna Brethren Church 34-20.
