Local soccer teams post big wins

Three local soccer teams kicked to big wins over the weekend.

The u12 High Point Stars defeated Hilliard FC 14-1.

Jacob Shell had a hat trick.

Isaiah Henry, Pierce Wall, Jack Nuspl, and Tanner Harte each scored twice.

Preston Henry, Ryan Johnson, and Cameron Epp each scored a goal.

Pierce Wall had 4 assists, Jacob Shell delivered 2 assists, and Collin Sutter, Isaiah Henry, and Preston Henry each added an assist.

Miles Harte, Tanner Harte, and Ryan Johnson played excellent in goal.

The Stars remain in first place.

The u14 High Point Heroes defeated Soccer First Academy 8-3.

Kasey Middaugh had a hat trick.

Caitlyn Shumaker, Sean McClain, Robby Weikart, Dominik Patton, and Daunte George added a goal.

Tate Schmittauer and Daunte George each had an assist.

Nickolas Wolf and Kasey Middaugh made some outstanding saves in goal.

The High Point Stars u10 team blanked Celtic Black 11-0 at Soccer First.

Dakota Shell had a hat trick and an assist.

Connor Defenbaugh added 3 points, including a 2-point goal.

Brent Rader found the back of the net twice and had an assist.

Andrew Wolfe, Sully Ashcraft, and Morgan Henry each added a goal.

Beau Salyer added an assist.

Goalies Tanner Harte and Andrew Wolfe combined for the shutout.

Caleb Epp, Will Patterson, and AJ Kimble played well.
