Chiefs lose to Tecumseh – Basketball scoreboard

The Bellefontaine varsity boys' basketball team was in action on 1390 WBLL Friday.

The Chiefs lost to the Tecumseh Arrows 61-44.

Bellefontaine's Max Oyer was named Steve Austin's Auto Group Player of the Game scoring 16 points.

After 1 quarter of play the score was 14-5 Tecumseh leading.

Tecumseh led at the half 27-19.

The Chiefs fall to 6-2 and 3-1 in CBC play. Bellefontaine will host Kenton with coverage on 1390 WBLL Tuesday.

Several other are teams were also on the court.

The West Liberty-Salem boys went on the road to Triad, winning in varsity action 73-63.

Connor Woods and Trent Tomas led the Tigers with 15 points each. Ben Burden made three 3-pointers for West Liberty, adding14 points total.

The varsity team is now 4-5 on the season and 3-1 in league play.

The Tigers’ JV fell to Triad 25-24.

Ben Bowden put up 12 points.

Triad came out on top in the freshman game 44-32.

Brandon Wolfe scored 14 points for the Tigers.

The Indian Lake varsity boys defeated Graham 57-41.

Brennon Lump added 17 for the Lakers. Jalon Tuttle contributed 11 and Christian Grider put nine points on the board.

The freshman game put Indian Lake ahead of the Hillclimbers 63-45.

Dylan Albright made 23 points. Andrew Hulbert trailed with 11.

Daniel Newport and Dustin Harder each had 10 points for Graham.

The Benjamin Logan varsity boys were downed by Northwestern 66-58.

Tanner Rader led the Raiders with 17 points trailed by Austin VanBuskirk with 13.

Grant Ricketts made eight assists.

Andy Elliot was the big contributor for Northwestern with 23 points.

Benjamin Logan came out on top in the JV game 40-29.

VanBuskirk was the leading Raider with 18 points. Joel Dixon put 16 on the board.
