John William Knox, 49, of Russells Point, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on July 7, 1963 in Marysville to the late Russell Eugene and Sharon Sue (Collier) Knox. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica N. Knox in 1985, and a brother, Rusty Eugene Knox.
He is survived by sons, John R. (Alicia) Knox of Belle Center and Joshua C. Knox of Mt. Victory; daughters, Jodi A. Knox of Marysville and Jenny L. (Jonathon) Knox-Speakman of Mt. Victory; sisters, Judy (Louis) Gall III of North Lewisburg and Joni (Robert) Delay of Meridian, MS; grandchildren: Madaline Carter, Skyler, Kayley & Hayden Knox; Vaidea & Mea Knox and Whitley Knox; a aunt and uncle, Dinah Collier of Meridian MS and Ronald Collier of Tampa, FL; and nieces & nephews, Aaron Gall, Mandy and Emily Delay and Kayla Schenk.
John loved the outdoors camping, grilling out, looking for arrowheads, being by the water and especially fishing. He also enjoyed baking cakes, music, drawing, and working with his hands at woodworking.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate at a 4:00 pm memorial service on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where friends may call from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
