Theda (Kindell) Bauer, 94, of Quitman, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 in Quitman.
She was born on January 10, 1918, a daughter of the late Newton S. and Ruth (Wagner) Kindell.
On March 6, 1938 in Bellefontaine, she married Edward Bauer and he preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Walter S. and Augustus Edward Kindell, sister-in-law, Florence Kindell and nieces, Kay Ann Meredith and Virginia Eastridge.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville, Georgia.
Survivors include a son, Douglas J. (Judy) Bauer of Thomasville, Georgia; grandchildren, Melanie and Brian Bauer; sister, Ruth (Fred) Meredith of Bellefontaine; a sister-in-law, Betty Peters Kindell of Bellefontaine; nieces and nephews, Dick Kindell of Springboro, Jon (Becki) Kindell of DeBary, Florida, Mike (Kathy) Kindell of Hilliard, Tom (Mona) Kindell of Greenville, Ohio, Dave (Marnie) Kindell of Brookville, Ohio, Cathy (Edward) Wallace of Bellefontaine, Theda (Mike) Moore of Bellefontaine and Beth Kindell of Brookville, Ohio; many great-nieces and nephews and a nephew-in-law, Felix Eastridge, of London, Kentucky.
Rev. F. Michael Valentine will officiate a memorial service on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church, Bellefontaine.
