Stella M. Nevers, 94, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born on July 18, 1918 in Champaign County to the late Moffett and Clara (Legge) Brown.
On January 7, 1934 she married Charles T. Nevers in DeGraff, OH and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1988. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Geraldine Kelswey, a sister and 6 brothers.
Surviving are her children, Clara Mae Mangen of Greenville, OH, and Thomas L. and William R. (Carol) Nevers both of Bellefontaine; a son-in-law, Richard Kelswey of Gaylord, MI; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Judy (Bud) Alexander of Bellefontaine, Dixie Idle of Rosewood, OH and Dan (Patricia) Nevers of Bellefontaine.
Stella was a homemaker and had a love for birds and feeding them. She also loved to collect Holstein Cow figurines and had a large collection.
Pastor F. Michael Valentine will officiate at a 2:00 pm funeral service on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where friends may call from 12 pm to 2 pm prior to the service. Burial will be in the Rushsylvania Cemetery following the service.
