Keith Alan Gildow, Sr, 57, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday evening, July 23, 2012 at the Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University.
He was born in Bellefontaine on October 6, 1954, to Garld R. “Gail” and Naomi E. Price Gildow.
He married the former Cindy Jenkins on April 3, 1976 in West Liberty. Keith was preceded in death by his father in 1992 and sister Joyce Gildow-Hayman in 2001.
Keith worked at Honda of America for 25 years before retiring in 2004, and later worked for Petermann, Ltd, transporting clients for The Discovery Center and RTC Industries. He was very passionate about his clients and assisting others. He was a member of the Bellefontaine Moose, VFW and American Legion, and enjoyed riding his Harley- Davidson.
Keith is survived by his wife Cindy Gildow, his mother Naomi E. Gildow, son Keith Gildow, Jr. all of Bellefontaine, daughter Heidi Gildow of Columbus; brothers Rick (Mary) Gildow and Gail (Jeanne) Gildow, both of Bellefontaine; special niece Stacie (Jon) Steele of Bellefontaine and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 4-8 PM. Pastor Karen Blackburn will officiate a funeral service on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00AM at the South Union Mennonite Church in West Liberty, where the couple was married 36 years ago. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
