Patricia “Pat” D. Lawrence

Patricia “Pat” D. Lawrence, 70, of Lakeview, OH passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at her home.

Pat was born on November 29, 1947 in Gahanna, OH, a daughter of the late George and Opal McKinster Henry. She married Jerry Lawrence on September 14, 2002 in Russells Point, OH and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2015. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Abby Heintz and Yvonne Lemmings, a grandson, Jaiden Lawrence, and five siblings, William, Charles, Jerry, George Henry, and Nancy McKinster.

Pat is a survived by her son, Louie (Peggy) Henry of Lakeview, and several stepchildren, eleven grandchildren, Bob (Brandy) Hewitt, Louie (Jen) Hewitt, David (Brittany) Henry, Harley Henry, Jeannie (Jesse Fry) Heintz, Tabatha (Adam) Davis, Patricia (Steven Glass) Heintz, Angel (Joe) Engle, Cristal (Mike) Gilbert, Carl Lemmings, and Jaise Lawrence, eleven great grandchildren, Zachary Lemmings, Kayleb Hewitt, Kaylee Magill, Sandra Engle, Zack Lovell, Caitlyn Engle, Emily Engle, JoJo Engle, Lynssey Henry, Laylah Henry, Jade Henry, and Carter Glass, two sisters, Mary Shroyer of Russells Point and Clara McKinster of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews.

Pat retired from PCPI in DeGraff, OH in 2017 after working there for many years. She was a member of Indian Lake Eagles Aeries #3615 and Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533. Pat loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for holidays and being outdoors during warm weather. One of her favorite activities was going to the Riverboat Casino with Jerry.

A gathering of remembrance will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 1-3 pm at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview.

Memorial contributions may be given in her name to St. Rita’s Hospice.
