Harold “Harry” Gale Page

Harold “Harry” Gale Page, 81, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday morning, October 4, 2017 at his home.

Harry was born on June 23, 1936 in Gideon, MO, a son of the late William Loyd Page and Daisy May Taylor Page Musgrave.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Diane Page, and four siblings, Opal Maxine Hartmann, Gladis Margrett Page, Joseph Leroy Musgrave, and Francis Eugene Musgrave.

Harry is survived by four children; William Harold (Helen Seeger) Page, Gary Wayne (Simone) Page, Nancy Lou Morrel, and Karen Denise (Tim) Barnett, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 13 siblings; Velina Christine Doster, Eva Lou Powell, Barbara Ann Propst, Earnest Wayne Musgrave, Martha Marylin Mansfield, Irma Caron Graham, James Alvin Musgrave, Stephen Allen Musgrave, Vinita Berniece Noah, David Lenord Musgrave, Sandra Shurley Froman, Patricia May Biri, and Janie Elane Formkhol, and several nieces and nephews.

Harry attended Risco MO High School. He was also a veteran of the Ohio National Guard. He was a member of Indian Lake Eagles Aeries #3615, Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533, Doyle R. Miller Amvets Post #39, all of Lakeview and Bellefontaine VFW Post #1080.

Harry was mechanically inclined at an early age and tore down his first engine at the age of 12. His first job was as a mechanic. He moved to Paulding with his wife, Lula Page, to work with his father and later to Indian Lake. As a result of using equipment from Elder Duff to work ground at his junk yard and returning it cleaned and maintained, a 56-year working relationship and friendship began with the Duff family when he went to work at Duff Quarry.

Harry enjoyed boating, gardening, going to sales and auctions, and socializing around Indian Lake. He loved being with his family. Harry was a generous individual and would give to anyone he saw in need.

A celebration of Harry’s life will begin at 2 pm, Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 7th from 4-7 pm, and Sunday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
