Jaiden Jakob Lawrence

Jaiden Jakob Lawrence, 15, of Lakeview, OH passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 4th.

Jaiden was born on June 30, 2001 in Lima, OH, a son of Jake (Misti Bailey) Lawrence and Paula (Roger Rivers) Nelson Lawrence, both of Lakeview. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry Lawrence and Rebecca Lawrence, Ronald Webb, great grandfather, Donald Webb, and uncle, Jerry Lawrence, Jr.

Jaiden is also survived by his brother Jaise Lawrence; grandmother Brenda Webb of Lakeview, grandfather Marvin (Deb) Nelson of Mechanicsburg; aunts and uncles, Ken & Tammy Holt of Lakeview, Jennifer & Ivan Muslin of Charleston, WV, Kiaya Nelson of Columbus, and K.C.-Lee Nelson of Mechanicsburg, Mark McCafferty of Lakeview, Helen Lawrence Phillips of Tulsa, OK, and Everlyn Chisholm of Seligman, MO; cousins, Dustin (Paige Dukowitz) Holt, Tara (Larry) Cascioli, Reed Cascioli, Bo Cascioli, Harvey Muslin, Emma Muslin, and Gavin McCafferty; honorary siblings Kenzi and Krissa Bailey, Julia, Vanessa, Nick and Grace Rivers, and many great aunts, uncles and friends.

Jaiden was a sophomore at Indian Lake High School, where he was an honor student, a member of the track and field team, and he enjoyed making his projects in woodshop.

Jaiden had been accepted to the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Medical Technology program for fall with goals of one day being a Doctor of Radiology.

He enjoyed snowboarding, snowmobiling, playing basketball, shooting pool with his Dad, going to family events and playing games with family and friends.

Jaiden was a caring individual with a humorous personality, who wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved his family and friends deeply and will be greatly missed.

Reverend Jim Ellington will begin funeral services at 1 pm Monday, April 10th at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview.

Visitation is Sunday, April 9th from 2-6 pm at the funeral home.

Burial is in Highland Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Jaiden’s family.

Condolences can be expressed at www.shoffstallfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview.
