Carl was a crane and heavy equipment operator in Lima, OH and then worked for the Indian Lake Water Pollution Control for 22 years until his retirement in 1988. After he retired he co-owned and operated the NAPA store in Lakeview. In Carl’s 94 years there were so many things he did and so many things he watched change in the world. His stories were amazing to hear, and if you sat still, he could talk for hours.
He was especially proud of his children and loved visiting with his grandchildren and great grandchildren as he said they kept him young. Carl lived a long wonderful life, and we hope that you were lucky enough to hear one of his many stories.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Carl’s doctors, Universal Home Health and Hospice, the ILEMS and everyone at LMH.
