Erma B. Shultz, 95, of Bellefontaine, passed away Monday, March 27th in Green Hills Care Center, West Liberty.
She was born on September 5, 1921 in Monroe Township to the late Samuel K. and Lillie Belle (Stallsmith) Lovett.
She was the youngest of ten children. She married Farrell M. Shultz on November 10, 1945 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Plahovinsak.
She is survived by her children, William (Susan) Shultz of DeGraff and Ann (Stan) Morrison of Grand Junction, CO; son-in-law John Plahovinsak of Cincinnati; seven grandchildren, Michael (Jen) Plahovinsak, Joseph Shultz, Lillie (Clint) Moreno, Jacob Plahovinsak, Sam Morrison, Molly Morrison, and Tom Morrison; two great grandchildren, Stephanie Erma Plahovinsak and Evonne Susan Plahovinsak.
Erma was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine and a former member of the Rum Creek United Methodist Church. She graduated from the Monroe High School and Miami Valley School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Mary Rutan Hospital.
A celebration of life will be conducted by Rev. Rob Ulmer at the Rum Creek United Methodist Church at 1:30 pm on Saturday, April 1st. Burial will be private in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
