Kevin Clay Kaylor, 56, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1957 and was the only child of the late William J. Kaylor "Lefty" and Marjorie Bowman Shultz.
Survivors include his mother Marjorie, son Aaron of Bellefontaine, daughter Kristen of Lewistown, a half brother Eric Schultz of Florida, and 2 grandchildren, Dalton Hines and Robin Cook.
Kevin is also survived by the love of his life and devoted longtime companion who he cherished their times together, his best friend and fiancé, Libby Allen Krauss of 11 1/2 years, whom he planned to marry on his 57th birthday, July 24th. Also surviving are Libby's two daughters Hannah Allen and Katilyn "Kati" Krauss both of Bellefontaine, whom Kevin cared and loved as his own, along with their family pet, Harley.
Kevin was a tool and die maker by trade, and a blessing to all who knew him and to those he chose to love.
A memorial gathering in his honor will be held Wednesday, July 23rd from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at the First Assembly of God Church Bellefontaine, 2833 US Rt 68 S Bellefontaine, Ohio with Pastor John Musgrave officiating.
