Cosma “Minnie” Vicario, 96, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 5, 2013 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. She was born in Albany, New York on November 8, 1917 to the late Frank and Josephine (Demma) Zuccaro.
She married Salvatore “Sam” Bioggio Vicario on February 20, 1936 in Albany, New York and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1976. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Maria Elena Donato in 1987; an infant brother; and sisters Mary DeGeorge and Jenny Cira.
Minnie was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was a partner with her sister, Jenny, at Cira’s Dress Making Shop in Bellefontaine. She had also worked at Bulldog Electric and worked the ticket booth at the Holland Theatre for many years. Minnie was a breast cancer survivor.
Minnie is survived by grandchildren, Brian (Julie) Donato of Dublin and Andrea (Tina) Donato of Dayton; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Fr. Patrick Sheridan will celebrate the funeral mass on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church where visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
