Cathy Danean LeVan, 63, of Urbana, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on November 10, 1949 in Logan County to the late Margaret (Coy) Wren and David Wren, whom survives in West Liberty.
On November 24, 1994 she married Ronald Wayne LeVan in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2009. A son, Mark Losey, and a brother, Terry Wren, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Deanne (David) LaRoche and Matt (Libby) Losey, both of Bellefontaine; daughter-in-law, Tess Losey of Dublin; grandchildren, Eric, Donnie, Maggie, Kaitlyn, Lillian, and Elijah; step-children, Ronnie (Tara) LeVan Jr., Dwayne (JoAnne) LeVan, Denise Houser, Ryan LeVan, Dean (Amy) LeVan, and Darin (Meghan) LeVan, all of Bellefontaine; nine step grandchildren; brothers, David (Dara) Wren of Bellefontaine and Dennis (Donna) Wren of Pittsburgh, PA; sister-in-law, Sherry Wren of Bellefontaine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cathy retired from the Bellefontaine Police Department. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, decorating, and shopping.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the North Greenfield Cemetery at a later date.
