Marjorie V. Wish

Marjorie V. Wish, 90, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 25, 1923 in Logan County to the late Roy and Fern (Frantz) Keesecker.

On November 29, 1942 she married Paul F. Wish at Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Samuel M. Keesecker, Ruth Thomas and Elizabeth Glett Wiley.

Surviving are two sons, James F. (Susan) Wish and Joseph P. Wish, both of Bellefontaine; five daughters, Sharon M. (Gale) Franklin of Jamestown, OH, Sue K. Caro of Orange County, CA, Joy A. (Steve) Wish-Climer of Bellefontaine, Joni (Ron) Galarneau of Corona, CA and Jeanne M. (Gail) Gildow of Bellefontaine, nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; loving and caring nieces and nephews including special nieces, Shirley Ebright and Barb Spath; and her best friend, Bernadine Cronkleton.

A homemaker, Marjorie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she worked in nursery for 40 years and was active in the Awana Club. She was also a member of the Logan County Farm Bureau Council #23 and a charter member of the Logan County Agrarian Club. She enjoyed sewing, reading and entertaining at Wish Pond.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Pastor Jeffory Willetts will officiate a funeral service at the Calvary Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11:00 am with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marjorie Wish Scholarship Fund for Calvary Christian School, 1140 Rush Ave., Bellefontaine, OH 43311.

Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine is handling the arrangements for the family and condolences may be expressed at www.edsfh.com.
