Midwest Express Inc. (MEI) is looking to expand its facilities in Logan County.
MEI will be constructing a new distribution center that will cost between $2,850,000 and $3,750,000. The project will be constructed adjacent to MEI's current campus.
The project is expected to create 50 new full-time jobs over the next three years. The project will also total approximately $1,300,000 in new annual payroll.
The Logan County Commissioners voted Thursday to give MEI a tax abatement of 50 percent for ten years.
The project has the support of the Zane Township Trustees and the Logan County Area Chamber of Commerce.
Commissioner Dustin Wickersham discusses the project.
