The Village of Christiansburg will receive a grant to improve the village water system. The grant is from the Community Development Block Grant, Residential Public Infrastructure Program.
The village will receive a $600,000 grant to construct a new wastewater collection and treatment system. The project will assist 110 low- and moderate-income households to connect to the system and benefit a total of 227 households in the area.
“Efficient and safe water systems are integral to providing a strong quality of life for Ohioans,” said David Goodman, director of the Ohio Development Services Agency. “Reliable infrastructure also better positions our communities for economic development.”
The Community Development Block Grant Program is administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency’s Office of Community Development.
