Warren Stevens, an Ohio Hi-Point Board of Education member and Urbana resident, was recently selected as a Board Trustee for the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA).
He and the other trustees will have “general charge of the affairs, funds, and property” of the Ohio School Boards Association.
The board consists of 14 to 16 leaders: the OSBA officers, presidents of the regional associations, and a representative from the six districts in Ohio with the largest student enrollment.
“In the time I have known Warren, I have found him to be a dedicated servant to education,” remarked Anne Reames, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board President. “He works tirelessly to also keep up with the legislative changes and is the board liaison for the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board. The board is personally proud to know Warren and likewise congratulate him on his appointment to the OSBA Board of Trustees.”
Stevens has served on the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board of Education since 2004 and represents the Urbana school district.
Stevens will begin his two-year term as an OSBA Board Trustee on January 1st.
