An area man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Route 68 south of Kenton Saturday morning around 3:45.
The Findlay Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Pat Stidham, 60, of Forest, was driving a '98 Harley-Davidson southbound on 68 near County Road 200 when he struck a deer in the roadway.
Stidham was transported from the scene by LifeFlight to St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He is listed in serious condition.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office and a BMRT squad assisted at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
