Bellefontaine hosted the sixth annual freshman camp at BHS on Thursday.
Students first arrived in the high school cafeteria at 11:00am and had lunch and got their schedules. They were fed a hot dog, cookies, and a bag of chips with a milk to drink.
After this all the freshmen went to the auditorium (Pictured right below) where all the clubs introduced themselves to the freshmen. Many skits were performed at this time. The drama club performed "Are You Smarter Than A Ninth Grader" while National Honors Society members did "What Not To Wear". (Pictured left.)
Next the freshmen were shown a slide show of what life would be like at BHS.
Around 12:25 the freshmen were put into groups and led on a tour of the high school by all the uperclassmen. The tours will help freshmen know their way around the school so they can avoid getting lost their first week. Also, they can sign up for different clubs at the school.
During this time other freshmen were directed to the technology rooms so they could be presented with information about what they would learn in those classes.
As a tradition, at 2:00 all students went to the auxiliary gym to attend a pep rally to get some school spirit.
