Two rural Zanesfield women were charged following a neighborhood dispute over landscaping Tuesday night around 9:15.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office responded to a dispute between Patricia Hammond, 54, of 785 County Road 5 South, and Susan Stover, 39, of 747 County Road 5 South.
Initially, Hammond was doing yard work near her property line when she was approached by Stover and Stover's daughter, Jaedyn Ford, 15.
When Stover asked Hammond to stop, an argument ensued.
Stover reportedly threw an edging brick into Hammond's yard. Hammond then slapped Ford and knocked over Stover.
Hammond said she was attacked and had to bite Stover to get away.
Both women were injured during the fight.
Hammond said she injured her toe and leg.
Deputies saw a scratch mark on her chest and redness on her arms and face.
During the fight, Stover lost a crown on her tooth, suffered a bite mark on her left forearm, and scratches on her arms.
Both women were issued summons for disorderly conduct.
No one required medical attention.
