One defendant pleaded guilty and three were sentenced before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark O'Connor earlier this week.
Timothy Showens (pictured), 50, of 700 Township Road 179, Apt. 7C, Bellefontaine, pleaded guilty to two counts of gross sexual imposition involving two girls under the age of 10.
Last July, the Bellefontaine Police Department arrested Showens on two counts of rape.
Showens allegedly molested an 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl.
The girls' father contacted the Bellefontaine Police Department in November 2011.
The Logan County Prosecutor's Office reports that Showens failed a polygraph test.
Last August, Showens was indicted for two counts of rape (F1) and two counts of gross sexual imposition (F3).
A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing is scheduled for August 12th.
Prosecutors are recommending a four-year prison term. Showens will be labeled a Tier II sex offender.
Patricia Davis, 40, of Huntsville, was sentenced to fifteen days in jail for domestic violence and a community control violation.
She was sentenced to two consecutive terms of 120 days along with a ten-month sentence. Davis was given credit for already serving this time.
Davis was also ordered to pay a $1,350 fine, court costs, and attorney fees and given a five-year license suspension.
Kareem Williams, 24, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to the West Central Community Based Correctional Facility, five years community control, and ordered to pay court costs and attorney fees for trafficking drugs.
Brittany Mackesy, 22, of West Liberty, was sentenced to five years community control and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs, and restitution for theft of a motor vehicle.
