The Bellefontaine Board of Education (pictured) met in special session Tuesday morning to act on several personnel matters.
The board accepted the resignation of high school associate principal Vinnie Spirko.
Former BHS football coach and administrator Jason Brown was hired to replace Spirko.
Brown was given a one-year contract to serve as dean of students, a position he held in 2010-2011.
Brown spent the last two years as a history teacher and assistant football coach at South Ft. Myers High School in Florida.
The board accepted the resignation of fourth-grade teacher Jeanine Lewis.
Sara Core was hired to replace Lewis.
Erin Graffis was hired as a high school language arts teacher.
The board will meet in regular session on Monday, July 22nd at 6:30 p.m. at the board office on Ludlow Road.
